 Waag Society is a Dutch foundation headquartered in Amsterdam and named after [http://waag.org/en/de-waag-building the Waag], a XVI centrury building with civilian use purposes that was originally part of the city wall and now houses the Society’s facilities. Waag Society was opened in 1995 and is a pioneer on research concerning the intersections of art, science and technology.
