Ideame is a platform that helps talented Latin creators to accomplish their ideas through crowdfunding, social networks and value added services. It´s an online community that contributes with small (or not so small) amounts of money to support Latin creative initiatives. (https://www.idea.me/about)
Description
Ideame is a crowdfunding initiative supporting entrepreneurs developing projects of educational, economic and social impact in Latin America. Ideame was launched August 12th, 2011 in response to a lack of capital for creative projects in the region.
At the start of the crowdfunding project, “creators” register their ideas and select one of two types of funding. Once the project is uploaded, the Ideame team verifies the project meets the requirements and, once approval is granted, the campaign can start. Collaborators choose a project and the rewards available, depending on their contribution.
