En el marco de la Alianza para el Gobierno Abierto, la Secretaría de la Función Pública (SFP) y el Fondo de Información y Documentación para la Industria (INFOTEC), con la participación de la revista Software Gurú, la empresa Mapdata, S.A. de C.V., la revista Política Digital y la Fundación Social TIC, convocan al público en general a participar en el Hackatón por la transparencia, el cual busca fortalecer prácticas de gobierno abierto y estimular la innovación tecnológica, a través de la participación de las comunidades de programadores y desarrolladores, para que a través de la creación de aplicaciones informáticas, la información gubernamental sea más accesible y valiosa para los ciudadanos.
