Alexandros (Alekos) Pantazis is a research fellow at the P2P Lab and environmental engineer, with expertise in the area of participatory design for nature conservation and integrated coastal zone management. He has an extensive 15 years experience of active involvement in civil movements in various rural regions of Greece and abroad, focusing mainly on agrarian grass-root movements, as well as on Degrowth and the Commons movements. Alekos has strong experience in non formal education and has been involved as a scientific assistant/coordinator in a number of European projects in the areas of marine conservation and management, focusing on local communities.

Alexandros (Alekos) Pantazis es investigador en el Laboratorio de P2P e ingeniero ambiental, con experiencia en el área del diseño participativo para la conservación de la naturaleza y la gestión integrada de las zonas costeras. Tiene una amplia experiencia de 15 años de compromiso activo en los movimientos sociales en varias regiones rurales de Grecia y en el extranjero, que se centran principalmente en los movimientos de base agraria e iniciativas de decrecimiento y bienes comunes. Alekos tiene una sólida experiencia en la educación no formal y ha participado como asistente científico/coordinador en varios proyectos europeos en las áreas de conservación y gestión del medio marino, centrándose en las comunidades locales.
