La CCUD desarrolla, integra, administra y difunde una plataforma transdisciplinaria que integra los datos de las colecciones digitales de la UNAM y los pone al alcance del público para su consulta y análisis. (http://www.ccud.unam.mx/)

Description

The CCUD (Coordinación de Colecciones Universitarias Digitales, UNAM) is a platform rooted in the Impulsa 5 project that created the Computer System for Biodiversity and Environment, which combined several university archives related to these topics. The same model was eventually replicated at other academic institutions with their own collections and databases.

The CCUD was created in 2013 as a transdisciplinary platform developing, combining, managing and promoting the National Autonomous University of Mexico’s different digital collections, making them accessible to the public for reference and analysis. The University Collections section of UNAM’s Open Data website publishes a list of collections authorized to be used, referenced and downloaded.

The repository is managed and coordinated by Tila María Perez Ortiz, PhD. Technical maintenance, development, promotion, quality assurance, publishing and network management (for the CCUD’s different projects) is in charge of several departments.
