Curriculum vitae:

Iván Martínez is a historian and Wikipedia activist. He is currently a responsable of the Incidence Officer for the Digital Rights Defense Network (R3D) and president of Wikimedia Mexico A.C., a local representation of the Wikimedia Foundation. He drives the program Moebius909 in Ibero 90.9, the public radio station of the Iberoamerican University of Mexico City. He has been interviewed by the main media in his country and other international media such as the South China Morning Herald or Amherst International Radio. As Wikipedia member he has given lectures on knowledge and free culture in fifteen states of Mexico and in some 50 educational and cultural institutions. He has participated in international events related to the Wikimedia movement in France, Germany, Poland, Israel, China, Argentina, Chile and the United Kingdom, where he has given five lectures on his projects.
