Description
Ally is an app for iOS and Android, providing multimodal information on the transport options available in a city. Currently, Ally operates mainly in Germany, but has also incorporated some cities in Italy, Tanzania, Chile and Poland. Through the app, you can check routes, pricing and travel times for different transport systems, public and private, as well as sharing trips with other users, saving favorite routes, etc.
Ally is a door2door project, a company based in Berlin with a second location in Porto Alegre. Door2door was created in 2013 by Maxim Nohroudi and Tom Kirschbaum and is funded through donations and both public and private aid (https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/ally#/entity). Door2door develops different digital apps related to on-demand smart transportation by using mobility data analytics. The Ally app picks up data on mobility patterns from its users and uses these data to collaborate on improving public transportation systems.
