Kubo Financiero is a crowdfunding and peer-to-peer fundraising community regulated by the National Banking and Securities Commission (Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores, CNBV). The company offers loans for many purposes: businesses needing to buy supplies, repair machinery or renovate their premises; individuals consolidating their debt, building extensions, renovating or fixing their homes; students paying for graduate and postgraduate studies; individuals paying for medical emergencies, purchasing vehicles or funding family events, such as parties or vacations. The website also provides a loan simulator tool to determine the amount that will be paid over a certain amount of time, specifying the requirements needed for the loan application.

Kubo Financiero’s investment system allows users to collaborate with one of three products and as little as $1000 pesos: kubo.global demand deposits, kubo.plazofijo term deposits and kubo.impulso security deposits.

One of the company’s goals is to provide people with financial education and information, through literature on personal, family, business and entrepreneurial finances, loans, digital tools, savings, consumer habits and other useful articles with practical advice on everyday economics. This educational information, as well as news, trends and stories are available on the website’s blog.
