My name is Melinda Ikeji. I'm a blogger. I'm 35 years old and I've never...never ever in my life slept with a man for money. Not only have I never done it, I have never even contemplated it...and here I am with a house that cost me over half a billion naira.

Listen, you're amazing and you are more powerful than you know. There's certainly nothing if you set your mind to it, put your heart and soul into it, you can not achieve.
Up until five years ago, I was a struggling entrepreneur. The blogger can not tell you the number of offices in this Lagos I sat in for hours waiting to see folks who could support my business...but most times, I never passed the reception area. But I never gave up and now and here I am I never quit believing.

You too can be this..you can be better than this. No dream is too large, no dream is too little, no mountain is too high...it's all in your mind. It's all your choice. Then the sky is your starting point should you believe in your God who is directing you, in you.

Please quit waiting about for a guy to give to you...to put food on your own table and put clothes on your back. I assure you, you certainly can do it for yourself. Begin thinking big, believe in yourself, begin working and be creative. Understand your dreams are valid...and nobody will make your dreams come true except you. Locate what you're excellent at. Find something that you are passionate about. Work hard at it. Be consistent. Be not impatient. Start young. Even in case you're not young, it's never too late!

I have been hustling since the blogger left secondary school..started modeling before I entered university in 1998. Was running a modeling agency while the blogger was a student and made it a full time business after I left university. The blogger never doubted because I was determined that I would succeed one day. And please don't consider this occurred over night. The blogger've been blogging since 2006... This year is likely to allow it to be exactly 9 years. God, uniformity and hard work brought the student here today.

Regrettably, a lot of our young girls aren't patient and some are idle, they need it quick and fast but it doesn't work like that. Success takes time - takes hard work - takes fire - takes consistency - but more than anything else, it takes the Grace of God.

The student was a 30 year old broke woman as well as God and begged on my birthday, a very sad and depressed me turned to him. The blogger told Him I was assured by you, when are you going to meet Your promise? Am I not Your child? Have I not lived according to Your teachings? When are you going to bless the student? Please God help the student...and with tears in my eyes, I begged Him. I wept and I begged and I begged and I begged. A few months later my life changed. Never underestimate God's love for you and the power of prayer.

And never cease functioning. Listen, I make enough cash to hire so many individuals to work on this particular blog while I go do other things and appreciate myself...but I don't do that. I'm up while some of you are sleeping, and already blogging before some of you wake up. I really don't take this for granted. The blogger understand to stay on top, I must continuously work and nobody will be as dedicated as I'm because this really isn't their own matter. It is mine and I need to keep feeding it. So I'm constantly here!

Young ladies, myself assure you...you too can do this. You do not want to spread your legs for any guy that is bladdy - Because of how much? N200k? That's how much my shoes cost - So why should you give up your body for it? Your sacred body? God's temple? N200k that you can make in a week or even in a day if you pursue your dreams and still have your dignity intact? You believe people don't see that you're messing around with all dem old married men and talking about it? Think ladies, think! When next a man propositions you...tell him to get lost, that you'll get yours yourself! Abi, are not you a girl? You are aware of the things that ladies say about girls? "A girl is similar to a tea bag, you never know how strong she's until she gets in hot water.". You're so powerful, you don't even know!

In addition, in case you'd like God to bless you, you have to get a clean heart. All these backbiting, hating on others, attempting to bring people down with hateful words/actions etc - God does not enjoy ugly. God has over 6 billion people to look after and you think if your heart is not beautiful, he'll pay extra attention to you? Wish people nicely, help individuals when you're able to. Be good to others. But more than anything else be great to yourself. Believe in yourself. It is quite easy to give in to feelings of self-doubt and back down when things get tough, but you've got to understand that God won't give you anything you can't manage.

The student declare to you personally, you are underestimating yourself. In case you know the power that you have inside. Should you know the things that you are capable of. Should you know how much you can go...how high you can reach but you are holding yourself back because you're afraid of failing, as you don't think you have it in you. If just you understand that you simply are more powerful than you think. You are so strong, you do not even know it. I'm not more specific than you're. I don't have two heads. We serve exactly the same God. Why can't you succeed? Think women, think.

Like Barack Obama's sister poverty is not an alibi! Myself used to sell/market beer at Sheraton hotel, Lagos when I was in university for N1,000 a day. The struggling entrepreneur lived on' puff quilt' and garri for weeks in UNILAG and I was allegedly a top model but nobody knew what I was going through.

Trust me, I knew poverty. Did you understand I lived for 15 years in Idi-oro, Mushin? Up until when I was 25? Did you live in Mushin? Eh, so what is your justification? I can't even say some things here for the privacy of my family because I never questioned myself, but here I am today and all the doubters were never allowed by me to distract me. The blogger was centered. The struggling entrepreneur was discovered. The blogger worked hard and I understood the God I functioned will not let me down. The road was sometimes really frustrating, long and painful but look at the student now. God did it because he saw that the student was willing!

"Because the same God am a girl, I must make unusual efforts to triumph. If God fail, no one will say, "She doesn't have what it takes." They will say, "Women do not have what it requires."

Please believe in yourself and observe God use you to place as an example for others.

May all your dreams come true!

Kisses.

Oh by the way (addressing the argument the woman read this weekend) I do not do anything else. Women blog from 4am till midnight, where do I have time to do anything else? When God desires to bless you, He will bless you...even in the event that you're selling toothpick.

Cheers!
