You are in for a shock if you think Britain is all elaborate structures and listed buildings. Blighty has some wonderful beaches and lovely countryside. This post will tell you where to get the greatest British beaches. The places I seen as a young child and continue to see today. Their are two things we love to do at the seaside in Britain and that is eat fish and chips with lots of salt and vinegar and appreciate an icecream and maybe bring a stick of rock or perhaps a sugar dummy house too.

Our seasides are a great location for a great time and with great funfairs, donkeys and beautiful coastlines there are tons of seaside towns to see in the UK.

Formby Beach
The shore at Formby is certainly one of the prettiest in the United Kingdom. Operating out of the North of England in Freshfields, Liverpool, Formby beach is a long strech of golden sand with sand dunes plus a national trust forest on top of that. The forest has a few of the only red squirells in the United Kingdom. In case you only see a day o-n the beach and a round lush woodland you will adore Formby. There's an ice-cream truck which sells teas and icecream and in addition public toilets but there is not much else here. Therefore make sure you bring a picnic if you are intending to spend the day here. It's well worth the visit and o-n a summer's day It's the best spot to catch some rays and assemble a sandcastle or even go for a dip in the ocean.

You can walk to Southport down Formby beach and in the event you see the half hour stroll it is worth it. Southport has fairground rides and some good gift shops where you are able to buy presents and British rock.

Devon
If you like picturesque scenery, quaint white houses, friendly locals and surfing then you'll adore Devon. Located in the south of England Devon is a quaint seaside town with great accommodation quantocks and clean air. The beach at Slapton Sands is shingle therefore it's perhaps not great for building sandcastles but in the event that you need to move away from it all and maybe get some waves it's an excellent place to complete it. There is ocean on one side of the shore and a freshwater lake to the other and it's simply beautiful.

St Ives
It looks as old as the hills that rise steeply from it, but this ageing-hipsters' town in western Cornwall still has what it takes; two super art galleries, picturesque cobbled roads, pubs that serve scrumpy strong enough to make you fall over after a pint and needless to say one of the loveliest bays in UK it also has some fabulous accommodation near bridgwater.

Porthcurno, Cornwall
Cornwall is famous for great surfing, friendly locals and delightful locals and this is undoubtedly one of the best. It is a golden bay with a granite cliff backdrop and sparkling blue water. It truly is excellent for a holiday the family as it's easy to make the journey to and superbly clean. Go at low tide and also you could take a stroll to some of the other surrounding beaches.
