Chris Brown cancels Australian and New Zealand tours after visa denied
U.S. singer and hip-hop star Chris Brown on Wednesday canceled a tour to Australia and New Zealand, after earlier being refused a visa due to his domestic violence conviction against singer Rihanna in the United States. In a statement, issued by Brown's promoters, the U.S.
singer confirmed the cancellation of the two legs of his world tour. He did not give any details for the cancellation.
Holiday stay in 'A Christmas Story' house available to highest bidder
Fans of "A Christmas Story" will start the bidding on Tuesday for the chance to celebrate the season by staying in the Cleveland house made famous by the popular 1983 holiday film. The winning bidder can spend two nights and two days with up to three guests at the 120-year-old house used in exterior shots for the film and whose interior was restored to look like the movie family's home.
George Lucas to new 'Star Wars' film: I'm your divorced father
"Star Wars" creator George Lucas, who was not involved in making the long-awaited new film, "The Force Awakens," said he is as ambivalent about seeing the movie as a divorced father would be about attending his child's wedding. Lucas, who sold the franchise to Disney three years ago for some $4 billion, told the Washington Post in an interview he had no connection with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which opens worldwide on Dec 18.

Action adventure "Mad Max: Fury Road" was named the best film of 2015 on Tuesday by the National Board of Review, a surprise choice by the New York-based body whose list traditionally kicks off the annual Hollywood awards season.
